Brenneco Fire Protection Offers Emergency/Exit Light and Kitchen Hood System Services to Clients

Brenneco Fire Protection is pleased to announce that it has added the inspection and testing of emergency/exit lights and kitchen hood systems to its catalog of services.

This move allows central Indiana business owners and facility managers to improve efficiencies by using a single vendor to handle all of their fire sprinkler system, fire suppression system and other safety-related inspections and testing.

“These are services we are seamlessly wrapping into our regular inspection appointments. We are already on site, so now clients don’t have more appointments, vendors, inspection reports and invoices than are absolutely necessary,” Brenneco Fire Protection owner Eric Flora says.

National Fire Protection Association fire codes call for a monthly inspection and testing of emergency lights and lighted exit signs. An annual test with tougher standards is also required. NFPA requires all kitchen hood systems be inspected and tested every six months by a certified, trained technician. All of these tests and inspections must be documented and available for review by a fire inspector.

  1. This is a good move by the BFP which shows that they are really serious with fire prevention and follow strictly the provisions of the fire code. These lights ar very important as it can save lives during fire emergencies.

  2. Good that there are monthly inspections compared to other cities where it is only conducted once or twice a year. Fire safety should not be overlooked because one little mistake can cause so much damage.
