The Best on the Job
Education and training are vital to Brenneco’s high standards. All of our sprinkler fitters go through a four-year program approved by the Bureau of Apprentice and Training (BAT), sponsored by Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC). These courses include the basics such as threaded steel pipe, underground pipe, plastic pipe, flanged fittings, groove fittings and plastic pipe. Advanced topics include basic building layout, sprinkler spacing rules, sprinkler system layout, fire pumps, foam, mist, inspection, testing and maintenance, special hazards, etc. Other training includes various types of management and leadership training, project management and more.

Under the ABC Apprenticeship Program, you will be trained as a sprinkler fitter and upon completion of the curricula and the On the Job Training hours required, graduates will receive their Journeyman card, registered with the US Department of Labor.
