Fire Extinguishers

Fire extinguishers are an essential safety tool for every facility. They provide quick, portable protection in the event of a small fire outbreak. They can help save lives and prevent property damage and injury. In order to protect your property and personnel, be sure that your extinguishers properly stored, maintained, used and regularly inspected so that you are prepared in the event of an emergency.

Fire extinguishers come in small and large canisters containing fire suppressing substances. Different types of extinguishers are available for different environments:

  • Class A—Ordinary, common combustibles (wood, paper, cloth, trash, etc.)
  • Class B—Combustible liquids (gasoline, oil, paint, etc.)
  • Class C—Electrical fires (circuit breakers, wires, electronic equipment, etc.)
  • Class D—Combustible metals (sodium, potassium, magnesium, etc.)
  • Class K—Cooking materials (cooking oils, animal fats, grease, etc.)

Brenneco can install the appropriate fire extinguishers for your facility’s needs. We offer scheduled services for internal examination and hydrostatic testing to ensure that your extinguishers are at optimal functionality.
